Septiembre es el Mes Mundial de Concientizacion de la Enfermedad de Alzheimer
21 de septiembre es el Dia Mundial de la Enfermedad de Alzheimer, y septiembre, el Mes Mundial de la Concientizacion de la Enfermedad de Alzheimer. En torno a este dia diversas actividades de concientizacion sobre la enfermedad y otros tipos de demencia son realizadas en el mundo entero. En Nagahama, realizaremos el Orange Light Up, iniciativa que busca ampliar el conocimiento sobre la enfermedad al mayor numero posible de residentes.
Orange Light Up
Iluminaremos el Nagahama Bunka Fukushi Plaza (Sazanami Town) de Naranja, color simbolo de la conciencia sobre la demencia.

Setembro e o Mes Mundial de Conscientizacao da Doenca de Alzheimer
21 de setembro e o Dia Mundial da Doenca de Alzheimer, e setembro, o Mes Mundial de Conscientizacao da Doenca de Alzheimer. Por volta desse dia, diversas atividades de conscientizacao sobre a doenca e outros tipos de demencia sao realizadas no mundo inteiro. Em Nagahama, realizaremos o Orange Light Up, iniciativa que busca ampliar o conhecimento a respeito da doenca pelo maior numero de municipes possivel.

Every year, September 21st is World Alzheimer's Day. Dementia awareness activities are being held around the world on this day. We carry out the next approach to have as many citizens as possible deepen their understanding of dementia in the city.
■Orange light up
Nagahama Cultural Welfare Plaza (Sazanami Town) will be lit up in orange, a symbolic color for dementia awareness.

We will start accepting applications for Children's After-school Clubs in 2024
Public children's after-school clubs
[Application distribution start] September 11th (Monday) ~
[Reception period] October 11th (Wednesday) to 20th (Friday)
☆Children who can attend the clubs are those who go to elementary schools in the city. However, in principle, this is limited to cases where parents or family members are unable to take care of the child after school due to work or other reasons.
※Those who currently attend children's after-school clubs and wish to continue attending, those who are on standby, and those who will be entering the first grade next year must apply. Those who wish to attend the club during the middle of the school year or only during long vacations should also apply during this period.
【Reception place/time】
■Each children's after-school club: Weekdays from 14:00 to 18:00
■Children and Families Support Division (City hall headquarters building 1st floor), Living Service Division (Northern joint government building)
: Weekdays from 8:30 to 17:15
※Applications can also be sent by mail (simple registered mail). Please mail it to the Children and Families Support Division by the application deadline.
【Documents to be submitted】
Application form for commuting, Consent form, Work certificate, etc.
※Please receive the required documents at the above reception desks or branch offices, or download them from the city website.
【Other precautions】
■If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity, selection will be made from among those who submitted the application form within the period.
■Priority will be given to children in lower grades and children who need special support. Children in upper grades may not be able to attend the club due to the situation of the facility.
■For elementary schools that do not have public clubs, commuting is possible throughout the year.
If there are 10 or more children who wish to have an after-school club, we will consider opening a public club at that elementary school.
